My next day start out way to early. In fact it start at 12:30 at night when another lighting bolt struck. This time Acorn thought a shooting star was trying to kill him.
Luckily enough for me Acorn so settle back down this time in front of Diamond's and Leave's stall as if saying he was going to protect them from the shooting star.
Acorn idea didn't seem to work for not even an half an hour later did Leaves come bursting out of his star proclaiming that a shooting star was going to kill him. He oblivious takes after his father.
Though just like his dad he soon calmed down and fell back asleep.
The next morning I let Diamond out first once again because she was almost having a panic attack about not having Leaves near here.
Leaves was oblivious to the heart attack he was giving his mother instead he was enjoying his time racing around the rain soaked grass.
Acorn was the next one to be let out and he promptly demand his morning meal.
As if determined to regain her pre pregnancy form Diamond was back to galloping around the pasture as quick as she could.
Meanwhile I had put Denial's bridle on her and we set out for the Horse training grounds. I know I have everything had home but its always good to get a change of scenery.
Back at home Diamond and Leaves where showing how close they were. Acorn on the other hand didn't care about anything besides his hay.
In no time at all we reach the training grounds.
Denali was a pro at jumping she knocked over the first stone fence, cleared the second stone fence and the wooden fence and jumped the water hazard on the first try! I wasn't that concerned about ending up in the water because I was all ready soaking wet.
She then refused the triple jump but after a few more tries she manged to clear it. Since she had done amazing I decide to call it a day and headed home.
Just as we got off the training yard another strike of lighting accompanied by a loud boom ranged out. Denali instantly got spooked but to my great relieve she didn't rear. I was able to clam her down and we head for home.
Back at home Leaves had heard the lighting too and was freaking out. This time it was about how the planet was going to collapse at any minute. Have I mentioned before he oblivious takes after Acorn?
For once Acorn was actually helpful as he clammed his son down. Looking at this photo I realized that Leave's coloring is a few shades lighter then Acorn but not as light as his mothers.
Once we reached home I eagerly unbridled Denali for I wasn't quite sure how we made it with out me being bucked off. In hindsight it probably wasn't the smartest idea to go riding in the middle of a thunder storm.
I headed out into the pasture to check on Diamond. Along the way I past Leaves who Acorn had obliviously been talking to for he was neighing about the ghost of the garden.
Diamond was inside the pasture playing with the horse ball but I stop her because she needed to be groomed because you could see the stench coming off of her.
When Diamond wasn't so smell anymore I went over to see Acorn. Acorn was curious about the new places I had been so he eagerly start to sniff me. As I stood their my mind once again turned to babies. Seeing Acorn and Diamond with their son was starting to make me yearn for a child of my own.
Another strike of lighting interrupted my thoughts as Acorn reared in fright and almost came close to hit me. This time he believed that it was about to start raining nuclear waste from the sky.
Deciding that I need a break from my crazy horses I head out front to do some peaceful gardening. Leaves ended up following me. He either want my company or he was trying to figure out if the garden ghost actually existed.
Out back Diamond and Acorn were grooming each other as Denali watch. Diamond can be so possessive at times and I have no doubt so was doing it just to sow Denali that Acorn was hers.
When my garden was done for the day I headed backside to get ready for the show. And once again I broke the toilet. Yet again I did not have the time to fix it so I went back outside to catch Denali.
I found Denali on the jumping course thinking about the garden ghost. I would that surprised if Acorn had ever horse believing in the garden ghost by the end of tomorrow. Mounting up Denali and I took of for the Equestrian Center.
Reaching the Equestrian Center I steered Denali in for her first ever show. We were entering a beginning jumping class. I couldn't help but feel nervous because I had never entered a jumping class before.
I didn't have anything to fear because not only did I not fall off Denali also placed first! We did a victory gallop all the way home.
Back at the house I put the new trophy next to the ones that Acorn had earned. Pretty soon I was going to have to get a new table.
