Because I didn't have enough stalls Denali had decided to sleep in the pasture. For some reason she decided to drink the water from the water jump instead of from the trough.
Meanwhile I was dreaming about a nuclear spill and Acorn was the only one who could save all of humanity. I think his weirdness is starting to rub off on me.
It was Halloween today and Diamond was obviously thinking about eating some pumpkins.
Acorn had put his spy skills to good us as he stealthily approached one of my grape vines. Unfortunately for him the stabling area had a clear view of the garden and I was easily able to intercepted him and herd him back to the pasture.
Leaves and Plum and become very close to one another. And it was Leave's who Plum slept with a night not his mother.
I was kind of sad to break up there gallop but I had to get Leaves trained. As we left the house we all most ran over the paper girl because she just stood there right in our path!
Unlike most of our rides this one didn't have a purpose. We just went were every we wanted though I did stop him a few times to admire how beautiful fall was.
Back at home Diamond and Acorn were flirting much to my worry because I wasn't sure if I want Diamond to have another foal just yet.
A great shot of Plum and her dad. Unlike Leaves she inherited her father's dark coloring.
By the time Leaves and I made it home. I was starving and soaked to the bone. So after I untacked him I head inside for some food.
Speaking about food Denali was showing how unsuited for motherhood she was by galloping away from Plum while she was neighing
Acorn comforted Plum but he couldn't do much more then that.
As I finished my food and came outside I saw Diamond and Leaves grooming each other. I felt bad since I knew that they didn't have a lot of time left together. Since the minute I was done with his training he was going to be sold.
Plum was still starving but she was incredibly thankful when she saw the bottle I had brought with me.
After Plum had her fill. I tacked up Diamond for I was going to enter her in an Advance Racing competition. Though she had obliviously explained to Plum how good pumpkins are because now she wanted one. Though for the life of me I couldn't figure out where she had gotten a pumpkin because didn't grow any.
As we hurried to the Horse Barn I had high hopes for today was the day I was going to get a gold ribbon!
The race did not go as plan and I was still mourning the lose by the time we had gotten home. See everything was going good we were in third place and gaining on the second place horses. When a giant crack of thunder boomed across the sky. Diamond spooked and by the time I had gotten her under control we had slipped all the way back to sixth! Sometimes I really hate lighting.
As I was putting the horses away for the night Plum was thinking about the grim reaper. Hopefully this was not a sign because it was Halloween maybe a kid had just dressed up as it and that's what made Plum think about him.
