The next morning I accidentally overslept though I wasn't the only one.
The first order of businesses was to care for my growing garden. As I was watering my plants my thoughts turned once again to buying another horse. Acorn's training was going great and we had a great bond. It didn't take long for me to convince myself and when I finished my gardening I headed back into the house.
This time I decide to adopt a horse through the local pet adoption because I liked the idea of giving a home to a rescue horse. After looking at the local listings in the newspaper I called up the adoption agency.
They said they would bring my new mare to my house in a few hours. So in the mean time I cleaned up the dish's from my dinner the previous night because some how it manged to slip my mind.
Acorn was totally oblivious to the new addition that was going to join our family as he spent his time racing around the jumping course.
The hours past by and soon enough this beautiful mare was dropped off at my house. I decided to name her Diamond. She has 21 days till she is an elder so that will give me ample time to breed her. Her traits are Genius and Fast, she also has the untrained trait but it should be pretty easy to train her.
I deiced to give Acorn and Diamond a chance to get to know each other so I headed inside to practice on my guitar.
The horses remained completely oblivious to each other as Diamond started to lick the salt lick. While Acorn was in the front yard eating the Newspaper that the paper boy at just delivered. I swear I don't know what I'm going to do with his strange eating habits.
They soon meet each other for the first time. The conversation started off a bit dicey at first with Acorn declearing that he likes hamsters while Diamond declared that she hate them. Luckily enough they soon found common ground on their mutual dislike of dogs.
They soon started to get even more friendly with each other which had me worried for I didn't want Diamond to have a foal until she was trained.
I broke up their bonding for it was time to go riding. Acorn and Diamond both thought I would pick them.
In the end I decided to work more on Acorn's training.
Diamond wasn't deterred though for she immediately headed for the racing track.
Acorn and I started right where we left off yesterday. Once again he knocked down the wooden fence and refused the stone fence. Not wanting to get off I just left the wooden fence on the ground.
Second time was not the charm for he refused it again.
On the third try he finally tried to jump it.
I didn't even know it was collapsible!
I was quite proud of Acorn for he was turning into an amazing jumper.
Acorn and me soon headed off for our second racing show.
Acorn got 2nd in the show and I know it won't be to long before he gets first.
When we got home I was shocked to see that Diamond was still training for racing. She had been going at it for 5 hours at least. Luckily enough before I could go grab her she realized how thirst she was and called it a night. I must admit I was quite impressed for she reached Level Two of Racing all by herself in one day!
Before I went to bed I made sure to wash the dish's this time.
