My Name is Glimi Taurgalad. I know its a weird name but my father seemed to love giving his kids strange names. All together I have 100 siblings to be exact I have 88 older siblings and 12 younger siblings. My father Xavier is an Elven Prince who was banished to Earth for his arrogance. He was tasked with having 100 kids before he could return home needless to say he succeed. Being half elves my siblings and I aged faster then other children because of this we rarely saw people outside are own family. Living in a house with at least 12 other people gives you little alone time. So the minute I was old enough I packed up my bags and headed to Appaloosa Plains to start a new life raising horses.
When my father found out about my plans he immediately started construction on a house and after a year of waiting I finally arrived at my new house. I couldn't help but be blown away by the size of the ranch. Money is no problem for my family so I shouldn't have been surprised at our big it was. A smile came to my face for when you have a ton of siblings its easy to feel invisible but this piece of land showed my how much my father cared.
The house itself wasn't that large but I preferred it that way. To my surprise my father made sure to not include any technology for I always preferred a good book to a television.
Outback the pathway lead to two areas for training racing and jumping.
To the left of the training grounds was the stables.
And then on the western side of the ranch was a pasture for the horses.
To my joy my father even got me a truck!
The first order of businesses was to head to the Equestrian Center and buy my first horse.
After about an hour of debating I headed home with this handsome stallion. I named this boy Acorn because of his light brown coloring. Acorn is a Genius and a quiet horse but he is also a piggy which I think is an okay trade off for the other two traits. He is an Adult horse with 12 days left until he is an Elder. All together I paid about 612$ for him which I think is pretty cheap.
Once I made sure that Acorn was settled in I headed off to the local bookstore. I needed to pick up some books on horse care and breeding.
Returning home I was pleased to see that Acorn was settling in and had all ready found the horse ball.
When I was done with my reading I headed out front to start a garden. The book had said that horses loved treats and one of the easier ways to bond with them was to give them treats. My father was a master gardener so hopeful some of his skills wore off on me.
Soon it was time for my first ride on Acorn. As you can tell I haven't gotten mounting down yet.
The first thing I was going to train Acorn in was jumping. I must admit he took to it really well because by the end of our first session he was all ready at Level One.
When our training session was done I put Acorn in his stall and headed in for the night. After a quick bite to eat I headed off for bed because as you know the early worm catches the bird.
